The National Asphalt Sealcoat Manufacturers Association was first organized in 1990 as an association of companies involved in the manufacture of asphalt based sealcoat materials. We have since expanded to include members from all over the United States as well as including contractors involved in the asphalt maintenance business.

Seeking to educate the end users and beneficiaries of our products by reaching out to them directly through our attendance at several trade shows each year which are heavily attended by property managers, engineers, and others directly involved in maintaining asphalt pavements.

Seeking to educate and support contractors involved in the application of our products. We have written a standard specification which describes how a sealcoating job should be done and gives some basic guidelines for a quality sealcoat material. In addition the association also publishes a brochure entitled “Why Sealcoat?” which explains the benefits of sealcoating asphalt pavements and is an invaluable marketing tool for contractors.
